LB52-18 is an iron powder, low hydrogen type welding electrode used for welding 490MPa class high tensile steel.
The weld metal has excellent mechanical properties, toughness, and crack resistibility. LB52-18 contains much iron powder in its coating and highly efficient welding can be conducted.
